For five days we will gather in a beautiful house in Catalonia to create, learn, share and rediscover creativity through photography, gastronomy and storytelling.

JULLIANNE MEDEIROS

Photographer, Creative Director & Founder of WITH OTHER EYES Retreats
Jullianne Medeiros is a photographer, creative director and visual storyteller with over a decade of experience creating editorial projects and immersive creative experiences.
Her work brings together photography, gastronomy, people and place to tell authentic stories with depth and emotion. Through WITH OTHER EYES, she creates spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with their creativity and discover a new way of seeing the world.
During the retreat, Jullianne will guide participants through visual storytelling, creative direction, portraiture, lifestyle photography and a series of carefully curated experiences designed to inspire both personally and creatively.

MRIDUL KAWATRA

Creative Director & Founder of Food Art Project
Mridul Kawatra is the founder of Food Art Project, one of the world's largest and most active food photography communities.
Passionate about bringing people together through creativity, she has built an international community where photography, food and storytelling become a shared language.
During the retreat, Mridul will share her culture through Indian cuisine, inspiring participants to explore storytelling, creativity and the emotional connection between food and photography.

MIKEL PONCE

Food Photographer
Mikel Ponce is one of Spain's leading food photographers and has worked alongside hundreds of chefs and Michelin-starred restaurants.
Known for his refined visual style and extensive experience in the gastronomic industry, he combines technical excellence with a strong creative vision.
During the retreat, Mikel will share his creative process, take participants behind the scenes of a live photo shoot and mentor every participant as they develop their own personal project.

JOSÉ ISKANDAR

Photographer & Storyteller
I often describe José Iskandar as a culinary poet.
He has built an extraordinary community by revealing the beauty found in everyday life, food and tradition. Through elegant, simple and deeply human photography, he reminds us that the most meaningful stories are often hidden within the smallest gestures.
José will share a Lebanese cooking experience and invite participants to photograph through his sensitivity, his quiet presence and his unique way of seeing the world.

Food & Lifestyle Photographer
Based in London, Lateef Okunnu is a food and lifestyle photographer renowned for creating visually striking imagery that brings together food, light, composition and storytelling.
Having photographed books, commercial campaigns and advertising projects around the world, he has built an impressive portfolio working with some of the industry's most sought-after chefs and mixologists.
For Lateef, photography is about more than simply documenting food. It is about finding the emotion, craftsmanship and story within every scene, creating images that invite people to stop, look and feel something.

With Other Eyes is much more than a gathering; it is a creative retreat that offers a truly unique experience. We dive deep into our creativity while connecting with people who share similar interests and passions. Throughout these days, we have shared unforgettable moments that will stay with us for a long time. We learned to break down barriers, immersing ourselves in workshops, conversations and activities that challenged, inspired and motivated us.

It is difficult to put into words what the experience of taking part in With Other Eyes truly brings. Jullianne, together with the other guest professionals, invites you to immerse yourself in their artistic worlds, each filled with sensitivity and a unique way of seeing. Throughout the retreat, we explored not only innovative photographic techniques, but also natural light, storytelling, the business side of photography and much more. Beyond the creative experience, there was also a beautiful sensory and culinary dimension. Every single meal during our retreat was exquisite and thoughtfully prepared. For me, as someone new to the world of photography, taking part was a gift to myself. But the greatest surprise was the meaningful connections I formed, both with the mentors and with the other participants. Four days of pure magic that I would experience again without hesitation. Rosa Asturias is a plant-based chef and healthy food coach whose approach to cooking is intuitive, creative and deeply connected to wellbeing. With a background in vegan and vegetarian cuisine, natural nutrition and holistic health, she creates food that celebrates organic, seasonal ingredients while respecting their natural essence.

Through Green Republic, Rosa brings together nourishment, creativity and pleasure, seeing food not simply as something we eat, but as a way to care for ourselves and connect with others. Her cuisine is vibrant, thoughtful and full of personality, guided by the belief that what nourishes the body can also nourish the soul.
